​DRUG ADDICTION/ALCHOLISM 

It is a disease condition characterized by an overwhelming desire to continue taking a Drug to which one has become habituated through repeated consumption because it produces a particular effect, usually an alteration of mental status, e.g. euphoria.  Addiction is usually accompanied by compulsion to obtain the Drug, tendency to increase the dose [tolerance], psychological or physical dependence, and detrimental consequences for the individual and society.

According to a study, DRUG Addiction is the second biggest killer disease in the world in the present time Addiction effects every sphere of an Addicts life – Be it, physical, mental, social or economical. Every individual is unique  with distinct need, strength, preference, goal, culture, and background including trauma experiences.

Self- determination and defining their own life-goals and design their unique paths towards those goals. Recovery encompasses an individual whole life, including mind, body, spirit,and community.
